Use of This Website
This site is provided for informational purposes and to help you learn about my photography services and get in touch. Please don't misuse the contact forms (for example, by submitting spam or false information) or attempt to interfere with the site's normal operation.
Bookings, Retainers & Payment
Booking a session requires a signed contract and a 25% retainer to hold your date — your date isn't considered reserved until both are received. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your session or event date. I accept credit/debit cards and bank transfer, processed securely through Pixieset. Prices shown on this site don't include sales tax, which is added to each invoice where applicable. These website terms are general information only; the specific terms of your booking are governed by your signed client contract, which takes precedence over anything stated here.
Retainer & Refunds
The retainer reserves your date and is non-refundable once paid, to the extent permitted by law. If I'm unable to photograph your session and can't provide a comparable replacement or a new date, I'll refund the amounts you've paid for that session. If an event outside either of our control (such as severe weather or a government restriction) prevents the session and we can't find a new date, I'll refund the amounts you've paid, less any costs already incurred on your behalf that can't be recovered. What's owed if you cancel depends on your session type and how far in advance you cancel. In short: the retainer is forfeited and the remaining balance is due as set out in your signed contract. Your signed contract sets the details and takes precedence over this page.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Rescheduling requests made more than 2 weeks before your session date are accommodated at no charge, subject to availability. Please refer to your signed contract for full rescheduling and cancellation details.
Delivery Timelines
Portrait, family, and maternity sessions are typically delivered in approximately 4 weeks; weddings in approximately 8 weeks. These are estimates, not guarantees, and rush delivery may be available on request. Your private gallery stays online for 90 days after delivery, and I keep a backup of your final edited images for at least 12 months.
Intellectual Property
All photographs and content on this website — including images, text, and design — are the property of Photos by Alexandra Lynn and are protected by copyright. Clients receive usage rights to their own session images as described in their client contract, typically for personal use. Images may not be reproduced, sold, altered, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. Website content may not be copied or reused without permission.
Third-Party Links & Services
This site links to third-party platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Pixieset. I'm not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites — your use of them is governed by their own terms.
No Warranty
This website is provided "as is." While I do my best to keep it accurate and up to date, I don't guarantee the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly current at all times (for example, pricing or availability may change).
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Photos by Alexandra Lynn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.
