Photos by Alexandra Lynn ("I," "me," "my") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect through this website (photosbyalexandralynn.com), how I use it, and the choices you have.

Information I Collect

When you fill out a contact form on this site, I collect the information you provide: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you choose to share it), the type of service you're interested in, your approximate date or timeframe, and any message or details you include. Beyond what you submit in a form, I don't ask for any other personal information through this website. When planning a session, I may ask whether anything would make it more comfortable or accessible. I don't need medical details, use what you tell me only to plan your session, and don't keep it afterward. Like most websites, this one also uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect general, non-identifying usage information about visits, as described under "Cookies & Tracking" below.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry, discuss your session, and, if we move forward, to plan and deliver your photography services. I never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How Your Information Is Handled

Contact form submissions on this site are processed through Netlify Forms, the hosting platform this website runs on. Netlify stores submitted form data securely and forwards new submissions to my email inbox. You can read more about how Netlify handles data in their own privacy policy at netlify.com.

Client Galleries & Payments

Once you're a client, your photo gallery is delivered through Pixieset, a separate third-party gallery platform. Pixieset's collection and use of your information for gallery hosting and delivery is governed by Pixieset's own privacy policy, not this one. Payments for booked sessions are also processed through Pixieset by card or bank transfer. This website does not collect payment information.

Cookies & Tracking

This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and what type of device and browser they use. Analytics cookies are off by default and are only set if you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics won't set analytics cookies, although Google may still receive limited, non-identifying signals such as your IP address and browser type. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie Settings" in the footer. I use this information only in aggregate to improve the website and my marketing. I do not use it to identify you personally, and I don't sell it. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by using your browser's cookie settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to request font files from Google's servers (including your IP address) in order to display them. This is standard for most websites and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this site, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from children through the site's contact forms. Photographs taken of minors during family or maternity sessions are handled separately, under the terms of your client contract and any model release you sign — not through this website.

Your Choices

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted through this site's forms at any time by emailing me at photosbyalexandralynn@gmail.com.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
